The cost and construction of this
$5 million modern, state-of-the-art sports lab for the Hauppauge community, contingent upon approval of an overall proposal to develop a vacant 10-acre site on Blydenburgh Road, includes the development of a 122,000-square-feet warehouse located in the rear portion of the building. The operations of the warehouse space will be entirely separate from those of the sports lab.
About The Lab
The Lab's 17,000-square-feet indoor athletic space would include an indoor turf field to accommodate soccer, lacrosse, and football. The field can be partitioned into multiple individual batting cages. A smaller turf field for private training sessions and/or two more batting cages will also be featured. The facility will include a full-size basketball court, volleyball court, & pickleball court, exclusively for use by Hauppauge's youth athletics.
